★CANON SYNOPSIS:
Mashiro was the Vice Captain of the ninth division under Kensei of the Gotei 13. She was the second of the current Vaizard to be infected with the hollowfication of a Shinigami due to being on patrol in the area where other Shinigami had gone missing. Thanks the help of Urahara she, along with the other Vaizard were able to escape Soul Society before being eliminated.

Now she is a renegade Shinigami who has become a Vaizard. She lives in Karakura with her fellow Vizard in an abandoned warehouse. She was the only one that didn't really have to go through any training to control her inner Hollow since she was able to maintain her mask for fifteen hours. She is ditzy and childish, known to throw fits over the smallest things. She's also known to give people nicknames, very much in the same way that Yachiru does.

Like many of the other Vaizard her Zanpakutou is still unnamed and its release is still unknown as well as the nature of its powers. However her Hollow mask has been revealed as resembling an ant or moth or some other sort of insect. Her Hollow state resembled something out of Kamen Rider, as does the white outfit she normally wears. Most of her Hollow powers seem to revolve around her legs, increasing the power of her kicks and her speed.



★ONORATA-VERSE BACKGROUND:
Mashiro is of a half Japanese, half Italian parentage. She spent the first few years of her life in the Kansai region of Japan, where she was born. After that they moved to her mother’s birthplace of Reggio Calabria. Life was hard after they moved. Her father was caught up in a spat between some street thugs and died as a result. Her mother tried her best to provide for herself and her daughter but after a few years she just couldn’t and left Mashiro to a local orphanage before committing suicide.

Despite growing up in the orphanage and the lose of her parents Mashiro has always had a bright outlook on life. She was always nice although a bit childish. And despite how much she wished to protect others she never really had the power to do so. So once she was old enough she went about trying to find a way to fix that.

She ended up joining the Monacello family and taking part in an experiment that would allow them to create some of their own brand of super-soldiers. The experiment turned out to be very similar to one the AMC had conducted years ago. Despite the pain she went through she was one of the few in the group that made it through all the experimentation. In fact she was one of the first to learn to control this “Hollow”, as they called it, and to use its power for the longest period of time without it shattering on her.

She went on to becoming a soldati for the Monacello family, specializing in assassination since the abilities given to her by the experiments increased her speed and stealth (despite her loud mouth and scatter-brained-ness she CAN concentrate long enough to get a job done). Of course not only her speed was increased, but her strength was as well (most concentrated in her legs), as well as her senses.

Using her powers manifest a bug-like mask and strange armor that elongates her legs, increasing the damage she can deal with her legs and the damage she can take to her legs.

When not doing jobs for the family she is often found working as a waitress at a local café. Although she's thinking about looking for a new part time job.
